Aim: This bridging course is designed to up-skill participants from their current WorkSafe recognised 'B Class Removal Training' to the nationally accredited

'CPCCDE3014A Remove non-friable asbestos'. This course may additionally be used as a WorkSafe approved B Class refresher.

Key Areas Covered:

• Revision on asbestos and asbestos containing materials
• Legislation; including the differences between Victorian and WHS
• PPE
• Planning and preparation
• Air Monitoring and visual clearances
• Waste disposal

Pre-requisites:

• Provide evidence of successful completion of previous B Class removal training.
• Construction Induction Card; brought to the training course.
• Proof of ID (drivers licence or equivalent); brought to the training course.

To receive a Statement of Attainment for CPCCDE3014A Remove non-friable

asbestos training participants are required to pass a written examination.

Target Audience: Victorian trained B Class removalists, who wish to perform

removal outside Victoria or on commonwealth infrastructure (NBN/Telstra pits).
