Permit to Work Training

Course overview

This 4 hour training will deal with conducting and implementing Permit to Work Procedures in common workplace situations. The training will involve a number of practical exercises to give participants a thorough understanding and the practical skills required to identify, evaluate and control hazards in the workplace.

Key Area’s Covered include:

  • Permit to Work Procedure;
  • Methods to Identify Hazards;
  • Risk Assessments;
  • Job Safety Analysis; and
  • Specific Hazards as Requested.

Target Audience: All employees and employers involved in the Permit to Work process in the workplace

Course Length: 4 hours, or a shorter refresher session can be provided based on your organisations needs (1 or 2 hours etc).

This course is run for a group at your workplace or at our training rooms.

The course can commence at a time suited to the requirements of participants.

HAZCON recommends that class sizes do not exceed 14 participants to allow for greater interaction between the participants and the presenter.

The purpose of this course is to educate participants on how to conduct and implement Permit to Work Procedures in common workplace situations.

This course can be tailored for your organisation or industry type (such as construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, electrical etc), and done in smaller modules, or refresher format to suit your workforce.

On successful completion of the training you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

A HAZCON HSE Trainer/Consultant can meet with you to discuss how this training course can be customised to incorporate your relevant policies and procedures.

In order to identify individual learners’ requirements please bring to our attention any candidate that has any needs such as; literacy, access or, medical restrictions so arrangements can be made prior to course commencement.
