Confined Space Audit

Confined spaces are determined based on whether they meet certain criteria based on the structure and a specific set of circumstances. These criteria are stated in the Australian Standard AS 2865 – 2009: Confined Spaces, the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations 2017, and in the WorkSafe Victorian Compliance Code: Confined spaces (2019).

HAZCON can conduct inspections of your site and/or existing confined spaces at your site.

How HAZCON can assist with a Confined Space Audit:

  • We will visit and review spaces using Part 3.4 Confined Space of the OHS Regulations 2017 including:
    • to determine if the spaces are considered to meet the criteria.
    • to assess the hazards that are present.
    • to establish works that may be undertaken in spaces including spaces not deemed confined space.
  • General compliance to legislation and relevant guidance documents with particular reference to the Victorian Confined Space Compliance Code.
  • Provide a written report with recommendations to address any regulatory and standard’s non-compliances as well as general safety improvements.

Contact us today to let us know your requirements and we will provide you with a proposal based on your site and location.
