By Richard Forster

As of 1st December 2025, new Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations to manage psychological health became law. Recent webinars by WorkSafe Victoria on this topic drew record numbers (14,000 plus attendees). This level of interest is unprecedented.

But what does the new legislation entail? How does it fit with existing OHS legislation and what does compliance look like?

HAZCON is delivering 2-hour workshops that will be a deep dive into the legislation and supporting material, covering:

  • What the new Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025 say (including terminology)
  • The Victorian OHS legislative framework
  • An overview of the WorkSafe Victoria Compliance code – Psychological Health Edition 1, September 2025
  • Prevention plans for psychosocial hazards
  • Other support material including the WorkSafe Victoria WorkWell website and tools
