Ari Munkhbaatar
HSE Consultant, Asbestos and Occupational Hygiene
Background:
Ari joined HAZCON in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Chemistry. He has experience working for various companies in Mongolia and Australia, and he is now with HAZCON in Melbourne.
He started his professional journey as a laborant to a Lab Supervisor while he was gaining more than seven years of experience in coal and gold testing laboratories in Mongolia. Moreover, he worked as a chemical engineer and quality manager for mining research projects in Mongolia.
In Australia, he worked in the asbestos field for over four years and held positions as an asbestos site supervisor and HAZMAT consultant at different companies. Also, Ari is a member of The Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).
He is currently involved in asbestos projects, including Air Monitoring, Clearance inspection following Asbestos removals, and Asbestos Audits. He also conducts Hazardous Material building Audits. He is an approved analyst and signatory with our NATA-accredited asbestos laboratory.
Personal Interests
He enjoys travelling to various locations and meeting new friends. He believes this is the best way to learn from others.
