Tim Mackey

Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Health & Environment)

Tim has worked as an OHS Consultant in the asbestos and hazardous materials area for 17 years. He has provided services for clients in various industries, including construction, demolition, manufacturing, education, health, all levels of government, service industries, as well as private homeowners.

He has extensive project management experience undertaking asbestos and hazardous material audits, asbestos inspections and assessments, hygiene (airborne asbestos fibre monitoring, counting and visual clearance certifications) and remediation supervision.

Tim project managed and undertook hazardous materials audits of 120 residential and commercial properties for a large Council in NSW. He undertook audits of over 100 residential properties for a large NSW State Department for Residence Noise Treatments and 40 commercial properties for a large Victorian State Department.

In the non-built environment, Tim has undertaken work on projects involving rail Rolling Stock and Tug Boat fleets.

Tim was the onsite hygienist during a large scale refurbishment of an office tower in Sydney. This was a two and half-year project and involved providing asbestos hygiene services, including asbestos air monitoring and clearance inspections.
