HAZCON is Registered Training Organisation (provider number 21519), and can provide WorkSafe Victoria’s Nationally Recognised “Construction Induction” qualification.
All persons performing 'Construction Work' in the workplace are required to have this qualification.
This Nationally Recognised Training course has been developed to meet the requirements of the OH&S Regulations 2007, Chapter 5 – 5.1 Construction.

Asbestos Removal Refresher Training
The Victorian Compliance Code for Removing Asbestos in Workplaces, released in September 2008, recommends that:
“Refresher training needs to be conducted every year for class-A removalists and every two years for class-B removalists.” (para 88)
HAZCON has developed 4 hour Refresher training for class-A removalists and 2 hour training for class-B removalists which assists you to meet this recommendation.

WorkSafe Approved Training
HAZCON’s Initial Level Course has been approved by WorkSafe Victoria for HSR’s, Managers and Supervisors.
Our course meets the requirements of WorkSafe’s learning outcomes and addresses a number of workplace hazards including young workers, fatigue, and infection control while including a strong focus on the powers of HSR’s and their contribution to ensuring a safer workplace.
HAZCON can also provide WorkSafe approved Refresher Training for HSR’s which also addresses a more diverse list of workplace hazards, and provides HSR’s with a refresher on their role in the communication, consultation and negotiation of OH&S issues in the workplace environment.
