Managing Director/ RTO Trainer
Peter Attwood is the Director, Principal Consultant and Senior Hygienist of the company. He has degrees in Science, Environmental Health and a Masters in Work Environment Monitoring. He has more than twenty years experience including two and a half years at the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands.
His experience includes position of Principal Occupational Hygienist with the Victorian Health and Safety Authority and Principal Occupational Hygiene and Safety Adviser with the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria.
Peter is fully certified as an OHSMS Auditor for management systems and legislative compliance. He also holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training with extensive experience in all areas of HSE training.
Ian Good BAppSc
Operations Manager
The Operations Manager of HAZCON, Ian is a new addition to the HAZCON team. Ian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry).
He has over twenty years experience in the chemical and plastics industries as a Quality Assurance Manager, Regional Technical Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Ian brings with him a broad range of experience covering Hazardous and Dangerous Goods, Poisons, AQIS, ISO 9000, NICNAS and other regional chemical control laws.
He has developed high performing technical and business development teams across Asia Pacific for a global Specialty Chemical company. A trained Six Sigma Green Belt he has managed a number of projects that significantly reduced waste and improved profitability.
Hayden Wing BAppSci, GDip(OccHyg), MPubHlth
Technical Manager
Hayden is a Certified Occupational Hygienist and full member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists.
Hayden has over ten years experience working as an Occupational Hygienist in a variety of industries including mining, mineral processing, manufacturing and packaging. This experience includes positions with Southcorp Holdings, Minara Resources and Alcoa Australia, as well as several years within the West Australian public service working as a Mines Inspector.
During his career, Hayden has dealt with the full spectrum of occupational hygiene related activities including asbestos management, the control and safe use of hazardous materials, noise management, respiratory protection, confined space entry, auditing and training.
Hayden also holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.
Lisa Andrew
Training & Administration Coordinator
Lisa has over 5 years experience in the administration field, has completed her Certificate III in Business Administration and is currently undertaking her Certificate IV in Business Administration. She is responsible for the day to day organisation of the HAZCON offices, administration staff and training schedules. Lisa assists with the organisation and coordination of marketing activities and seminars, whilst providing valuable assistance to the consulting staff.
Lisa is responsible for ensuring that all requirements for being a Registered Training Organisation are being met. She is also prepares our training calendars and ensures all courses are organised and run to schedule.
Deb Wilson
Asbestos & Occupational Hygiene Coordinator
Coming from a scientific research background, Deb has had over 20 years experience in field trial management, data management, work scheduling, staff recruitment and development.
Deb brings extensive experience to the role of operations officer scheduling staff, resources and conducting administrative tasks for the group.
Ruth Sonley
Finance & Systems Coordinator
Ruth has a Finance, Administration & IT background with over 20 years experience working in a wide range of industries. She is responsible for the smooth running of the finance department and is also responsible for HAZCON’s Quality Assurance. Ruth also assists with records, general administration and assists Stuart in the IT Department.
